OUR COMPANY

We are a small family owned business. With over 15 years working in the Pilbara and the last 5 of those living up there with my family, I know how awesome the outback can be. We love the outdoors and exploring the magnificent backyard we call WA. We enjoy nothing more than hooking up the camper or boat and taking off into the vast unknown’s. We also know that being outdoors on your own, with the family or you mates is not without its risks. This is how the idea of a safety focused outdoors business was born.

Nomad Outback Australia Equipment and Hire aims to provide you cost effective options for keeping safe when you travel outdoors for work or leisure.

The products we provide are chosen specifically with Safety, Quality and Simplicity front of mind. Our products ensure you stay connected when out bush with no reception, and have options when things can go wrong, or, you just want to make sure you have your bases covered. We have specifically chosen satellite phone and emergency products which utilise the Iridium network and GEOS Emergency systems, providing the most coverage and support throughout Australia.

Our online shop is designed to keep things simple and is supported by a no fuss end-to-end logistics process. We cater for all outdoors and remote working people including 4WD Enthusiasts, Family Campers, Hikers, Hunters, Fishers and Explorers; Mining & Government Service Providers such as Environmental Surveyors, Exploration Drilling, Geology providers, Surveyors and Prospectors; Remote Maintenance, Operations and Projects teams, Community groups such as Schools, Sporting Groups, Not For Profit, and Charity Organisations.
